The search capabilities used within many web sites (chatbots and search engines being the exceptions) are not very good, particularly when it comes to complex queries. Therefore, most searches directed at these web sites need to be kept simple to optimize chances of locating the desired information. Google, one of the search engines, has much better search functionality. Therefore, the "Google Search - LCMS Sites" webpage is intended to take advantage of that more powerful search functionality in conjunction with web sites lacking equivalent functionality.

The "Google Search - LCMS Sites" web page consists of an input field into which a query (search) can be entered, a command button that allows for voice input, and a table that displays the entered queries and allows for searches of various LCMS/Lutheran websites using Google as the search engine.

Any query entered either by keyin to the text field or by speaking via the "Voice input" button is added to the table. For example, the following screenshot shows the result of speaking "Explain predestination" and keying in "John 3:16". By the way, voice input is poor at interpreting Bible passages so these are best keyed in.
