This website was designed and developed on a large screen. Therefore, prior to today (5/21/2025), it did not display very well on small screens (e.g., cell phones). In the last few days, significant effort was put into improving its use with cell phones. Now, although there is room for refinement, the display on cell phones is much better.

To support small screens, a second version of the home page, one specifically for small screens, was made. For several reasons, this new home page (for cell phones) was made the default home page and the previous home page was renamed to "MultiHomePage.html" (previously "HomePage.html"). When "https://www.lutheranhub.com" is entered into a browser, therefore, the small screen home page (for cell phones) will appear. This is desirable for small screens but significantly less desirable for large screens. Therefore, a hyperlinked entry at the bottom of the "For everyone" tree can be used to switch to the large screen version. Alternatively, "https://www.lutheranhub.com/Multi" or "https://www.lutheranhub.com/MultiHomePage.html" may be entered into the browser to go directly to this webpage.

The default webpage (for cell phones) is a single window version in which the back arrow is used to return to the previous webpage. This is consistent with how most websites behave. The large screen version of the homepage is multi-window, which means that clicking on hyperlinked text or images typically opens a new window. This provides for additional functionality versus the single webpage viewing. However, using the multi-window functionality on a cell phone creates more headaches than are justified for the additional functionality. Hence, the decision was made to make the cell phone version single window.

Even with the changes made for a small screen, the resolution on some webpage displays is such that the recommendation is to use a stylus for more exact clicking than possible using a finger.
