For everyone

The learning games are intended to be fun but also to be learning experiences. As such, each game provides an opportunity for learning as well as enjoyment.

Bible hangman

The goal of the hangman game is to figure out the word by guessing letters. Each wrong letter guessed adds a body part to what is being hung. If the word is figured out before the stick figure is completely hung, then you win. Regardless of whether you figure the word out or are "hung", an image appears that, when clicked, will display a webpage with information about the word.

Symbol match

The symbol match game involves matching the symbols hidden behind the numbers. This game can be played in two-player mode, in which case the goal is to get more matches than your opponent, or in single-player mode, in which the goal is to match all the symbols with the fewest misses. With every number selection, a description of the symbol appears followed by the image. Clicking this image displays the webpage corresponding to the symbol.

In easier mode, the matrix is 3*6 (18 squares). In the more difficult version, the matrix is 5*6 (30 squares)

Books of the Bible

The "Books of the Bible" game tests the player's knowledge of the ordering of the books of the Bible. All of the books of the Bible are randomly ordered within a matrix and the player should identify the appropriate book based on the game version being played. When a book is properly identified (by clicking on it), that book is removed from the matrix.

In the easier mode, the only versions of the game that are available are "in order", in which case the books are to be identified starting with Genesis and ending with Revelation, and "after", in which the player is to identify the book after the one that is asked. The goal is to identify all 66 books in the least amount of time with the fewest misses.

In the more difficult mode, the additional versions of "in reverse order" (starting with Revelation and ending with Genesis), "before" (player identifies book that precedes the specified book), "scrambled" (book names are scrambled) and "number of chapters" (player identifies the number of chapters in each book) are added.
