Give Help
The "Give" webpage consists of a table that is used to research giving opportunities and trees below the table that expose the various giving opportunities.
If the "Give" webpage is accessed from within the context of a specific church, then the giving opportunities for that church will be presented in the first tree under the table. In the following screenshot, the giving opportunities for Grace Lutheran (Huntsville, Alabama) are shown. With the giving opportunity for Grace Lutheran an image is presented that, if clicked, will display another webpage from which a donation to Grace Lutheran may be made.
The opportunities to give to the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod are defined in the "To Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod" tree. Each node within this tree contains an LCMS image that, when clicked, takes the user to an LCMS webpage from which a donation can be made.
The next tree identifies opportunities to give to other LCMS entities and organizations (i.e., organizations with their own websites).
Opportunities to give to Recognized Service Organizations of the LCMS are identied by the next tree.
The last two trees identify opportunities to give to non-LCMS, but Lutheran, organizations.
Selecting yellow-underlined text from any of the trees will add those giving opportunities to the table at the top. For example, the following screenshot shows this table after the text for giving to the Global Mission Fund, to LCMS national work and to LCMS international work have been clicked.
